VISION:
We seek to EQUIP the members of our church as they CONNECT with each other so that they may be MOBILISED for ministry.
This vision firmly based on Paul’s instruction found in his letter the church in Ephesus: It was he who "gave gifts to people"; he appointed some to be apostles, others to be prophets, others to be evangelists, others to be pastors and teachers. He did this to prepare all God's people for the work of Christian service, in order to build up the body of Christ. (Eph 4:11-12)
Within EQUIP we will seek to train and develop members within three focal areas of LEARNING and can be summarized as follows:
- Learn to Grow: Within this focal area we seek to provide participants with the necessary tools needed to understand and implement the important biblical teachings in their daily lives
- Learn to Lead: Within this focal area we seek to help participants discover their leadership potential and then help them develop godly leadership qualities.
- Learn to Serve: In this stream we will provide participants with the necessary skills needed to become effective ministers within the local body of Christ and the broader community in which we live
